| Well it has been crazy in our little family. Lydia is 7.5 months old. She is so close to crawling, she grunts at what she wants, is into everything and wants to do what sister is doing. With Madelyn I didn't do much "baby food" she just wasn't into it. But Lydia tried to eat my steak when she was 4 months old which made me think she just might be hungry! So my little girl eats baby food...as long as it is green. Madelyn is 2 and 8 months. She has been in big girl undies for 9 months and is doing well. She speaks really well and loves to read. Her memory is fantastic. This child remembers EVERY thing and repeats everything (even stuff we say quitely to each other). In the work world we are all set for Christmas. So things are just flying right along. We will blink and it will be Madelyn's 3rd birthday. AHHHHHH | | |
| Here is the difference between feeding a 2 year old and a 6 month old.

| That is what Madelyn has been telling everyone. She saw a $200 swimming pool for sale and asked if we could get it. I told her no, to which she said "Grandma will get it for her". So I told her to go right a head and call grandma and ask. She did. Grandma said no, too. But Grandpa (not knowing what she was asking) said sure. Now every 15 mins we are hearing about the swimming pool! She is so crazy, and so 2. So today after nap we will go buy a $10 pool....smaller, easier and much more affordable. Yes Grandma did find a big one for a good price, but we are just now getting grass to grow, so we don't want to have a ten foot dead spot in the yard! Ahh, on to a sermon I go. | | |
| Why am I so tired? I am not up much at all at night and although we are suppppper busy, it isn't anything out of the ordinary. But boy my eyes are so heavy and all I want to do is sleep. Lydia is growing big and just so much fun. She is more moody than Maddy ever was, but it isn't as moody as most babies. She cooos so loudly and giggles a lot. Madelyn is great fun and according to her teachers the most verbal kid ever. She has been speaking in complet sent. for a long time, but they are chuck full of discriptive words. and she uses some funny phrases such as: "That so silly." or "That is Madelyn's fault." She continues to amaze us. Well we are off to SACEP on Sunday with Lydia for the week and Grandma is coming to spend time with Maddy. My heart is breaking that we are leaving her behind, but she will have more fun here instead of a hotel room for a week. I just hate not having her with us. Back to work. | | |
| Yes that is right, Brian was able to save his hair (www.xanga.com/bkgoodwill). It only cost us $30.oo, NOT BAD. Thank you all who helped. Now I just need to pack my bags for I am off with 10 teens and a 10 wk old for the weekend (watchout Greenbay here we come) Wish me luck, or maybe you better just pray for Brian as he is home with Maddy and preaching this Sunday with no one to help with her. That will be stressfull. | | |
